Extender Scripts

This script suppresses the "Do you want to print this order?" message when posting an order in O/E.

Requires Extender Product Update 12.17 for versions 2022 and above. 

Extender module to save P/O Purchase Orders as PDF in configurable folders and email vendors based on A/P Vendor's delivery method. 

For use with Extender Developer (and optionally Document Management Link).

O/E Order scripts to show how to get the detail optional field views from a header script and how to get the header optional field from a detail view script. 
 
The header script calls the details to get the OE order detail optional field view.
The detail script calls the header to get the OE order header optional field view.
 
They read an optional field record, and display its value (if any) on insert of detail and insert of the order.

Script to add the Batch Entered by field as a column to the AP batch listing. 

Requirement: Disable the Zoom button on the PJC Contract/Job maintenance screen (PM1010).

We cannot disable the zoom button or trap the click in time to stop the popup from appearing. The script triggers the Cancel button on the Wizard popup as soon as it appears and displays a message box to the user whenever they press the Zoom button on the Contract/Job field edit control in the PJC module.

 To use, import the script in Extender Setup > Scripts and restart the Sage desktop

Adds a button to the OE Sales History (OE2500) screen to search for items when selecting by customer.  

Use the navigation arrows on the control to find next /previous / last. Displays a message if no item is found. 

Sample Extender module includes a workflow action to create EFT File from an AP Payment batch. There is also a test Workflow that can be used to test the new workflow action independently of your full AP Payment workflow template. 

 

Script adds a button to the AR Invoice Batch list to add a test batch and invoice.

Demonstrates how to add a button, insert records and display the error stack. 

The sample scripts demonstrate how to call a script from a UI script. The calling script passes parameters to the Other script, and the other script returns values to the source script. Upload the scripts in Extender Setup > Scripts and review the structure. 

Script to display selected AR Comments in AR Customer Inquiry, using Orchid Notes and Extender Developer Edition. 

This Extender sample script adds a CONTAINER text optional field to the PO Detail grid for ease of data entry.

Upload and run the script to show a "Hello World" message on a Sage 300 screen. 

Sample OCX script to add a finder on the OE pop-up for the Ship-To State field. 
Valid states are based on an optional field called VALIDSTATES.

Script adds First and Last Name from multiple contact to the AR Customer screen. 

OCX Screen Script adds a custom Post button over the standard Post button on OE1100. The script validates that the PO Number field is not blank when posting the order. 

Workflow templates to notify Sage 300 users of large OE Orders.

OE Order Notification template sends an email for orders over a certain amount.
OE Order Notification Mark Read template sends an email and waits for the user to complete the workflow to acknowledge the notification in the Workflow Console. 

Sample module to facilitate Serial Number entry on OE Order screen. F2 key opens a list of available serial number that you can select from.

Script hardcoded for a table called ADDINFO. You can edit the script to use for another table. (change the value in line 25 myCustomTableName = "ADDINFO")

If the custom table has 40 fields, the script will display 2 columns of 20 fields. 
It also has an extra navigation field at the top.

Extender module with UI (OCX) script - add buttons to Purchase Order screens to create a PDF, file it and email it to the Vendor. Also adds a CONTAINER optional field to the PO Entry grid.

Use Extender OCX scripts to modify Sage 300 screens. E.g. add fields and tabs, add buttons, change finders, hide fields.

The Extender module “Demo OEAutoFileEmailInvoices” includes a script to add buttons to Orchid Note to generate/print a PDF and email an invoice. 

The module includes a custom table to maintain the configuration setup where the PDF files are saved. The sample is designed to use configuration that can be displayed in Orchid Document Management Link. 

The Extender module “Demo Autopopulate AR Item Opt Fields.vi” includes a custom Extender table to store optional fields per A/R Items and a script to default the optional field values on A/R Invoice detail lines. The module includes a script to add the COLOR optional field to the AR Invoice grid for ease of data entry. 

It also includes a custom screen (python Extender script) to maintain the A/R Item optional fields. 

Sample script to send an email when posting an order based on Extender Email Template and email address configured on AR customer optional field. 

Module with script to display Customer sales history and Customer/Item Sales, quantity and Average Price from Sage 300 Order Entry in Information Manager Notes. Users can configure to display one or both set of information. Can be tailored to display Year-to-date figures or multiple years.

The logging of G/L, A/P, and A/R batches is performed by a single Python3 script executed by Orchid's Extender module. This script needs to be setup to trigger upon Sage 300 view events through the Extender module.

Validate the Primary Invoice number entered through the PO Receipt, ensuring the Invoice Number has not already been entered before against the same vendor.

Validate the PO Receipt total cost vs total cost of the associated PO does not exceed a predefined margin. 

Notifies by email the purchase orders that were expected to be receipted today yet were not. (for use in Process Scheduler)

This shows A/R Customer comments in the notes popup. (Designed to be run from Information Manager Notes)

Reports customer credit details for a specified customer. Includes the ability to drill down to O/E Pending orders if using O/E. Designed to be run in Information Manager Notes. Users can configure on which screens in Sage 300 they want to see the credit status details. For example when entering transactions in Order Entry or in Accounts Receivable. 

Reports customer outstanding balances, designed to be run from Information Manager Notes. Includes the ability to drill down to the underlying transactions making up each aging bucket. 

Users can configure where to display the aging, for example when entering O/E Orders or Shipments. 

Validates the journal entry date against the system date and warns if it exceeds a predetermined number of days

Validate addresses for vendors defined in EFT Processing ensuring they contain no commas as this may conflict with some EFT Processing bank export formats.

Validate customer state is one of a list of values.

Uses parameters for both the field name and the list of valid values.

Validates the customer or customer ship-to country is in a valid list of country codes
