This month we focus on two products from our Automation & Productivity category:
- Process Scheduler: Many critical Sage 300 processes need to run after hours or at weekends, when there are no active users on the system. Day-ends, dumps & loads, integrity checks or just about any other recurring process can be scheduled to run unattended, with the peace of mind of knowing that all results are logged, and exceptions are notified.
- Report Runner: Quickly and easily access and launch Crystal Reports or Sage 300 GL Financial Reports. You can run multiple reports, distribute them by email, save parameters for running them again, and create role-specific report menus. Combine with Process Scheduler to automate execution and distribution of recurring reports.
While on the subject of reporting, let's not forget Orchid's Data Views. This product simplifies report writing, and speeds up report running, by allowing you to easily create and maintain database views that turn your Sage 300 Optional Fields into columns.
