Anne, Sue, and Robert have returned from representing Orchid Systems at last week's mega-event for the Sage Intacct community, held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas. We send our congratulations and appreciation to all those involved in this impressive organizational feat.
We spent many hours manning the Orchid booth in the exhibition area, broken up only by attending keynote addresses and evening activities.
While Sage Transform is primarily targeted at the end-user community, there was also a very healthy representation of business partners, not to mention the many Tech Partners and ISVs like us.
It was great to catch up with many familiar faces, meet lots of new ones, and share the benefits of Orchid's EFT Processing for Sage Intacct with such a wide audience.
(And as an aside, the Australian contingent was made to feel at home when wandering the strip thanks to 14,000 Aussies who made their way to Vegas for the National Rugby League (NRL) double-header season launch at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday night).
They used to say, "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas", but if that were true it would be such a missed opportunity!
Let's hope that many of the new acquaintances we made evolve into friendships and valuable business relationships over the coming months and years!
