Extender Workflow is here!
 

With the release of Extender Workflow for Sage 300, scheduled for later today, our most versatile module has just gained a whole new dimension!

Workflows can be started manually, or automatically triggered from within Sage 300. They can be controlled using the Workflow Console, or by icons on Sage 300 screens. To illustrate and demonstrate different workflow capabilities we’ve developed a number of sample Workflow Templates, as well as 6 detailed Workflow Tutorials.

This article includes overviews of the 6 Workflow Tutorials. These will also give you an idea of the sorts of business processes that can be automated using Workflow.
 
 
 
 
  • Extender: The latest PU includes Workflow (see above), plus password protection for Extender Scripts. See our "What's New in Extender PU6" KnowledgeBase article for details.
  • Information Manager: Orchid User changes to support Workflow, plus the ability to add Extender Log icons to Sage 300 screens.
  • Process Scheduler: A new Level 2 action has been added - PO Day End.
  • EFT (Payroll): Payslips can now be emailed or printed from the same print run, based on the employee’s delivery method.
