Software Assurance renewals... a great excuse to talk turkey!

With Thanksgiving behind us and Christmas on the way, many of you will have been talking turkey with your families recently, but there is no reason for your customers to be left out.

Software Assurance renewal time provides a great excuse to contact your clients, discuss how their solution is performing, and tease out fresh sales or consulting opportunities.



And if you have clients who resent purchasing software, then regularly having to reach into their pockets again for software assurance, our recent news article may help convince them that software assurance is not just another slug!
 
 

This month we'll take a closer look at Inter Entity Trade, the sister product to last month's featured product, Inter Entity Transactions.

 
 

Inter Entity Trade supports related entities (companies, branches, divisions etc.) that trade goods or services with each other. It automatically creates mirrored AR/AP or OE/PO buy & sell transactions across entities, within one or across multiple Sage 300 databases. By removing the need to manually create duplicate transactions, efficiency and accuracy can be dramatically improved.

Orchid Case Study


This month we are sharing a theoretical case study, demonstrating how Inter Entity Trade and Document Management Link (DML) can work well in partnership.

As well as showing Inter Entity Trade in action, Anne's short video highlights how, with some clever configuration, DML can allow staff in different but related companies to share documents associated with the trade transactions, without having to email or otherwise distribute multiple copies.

EFT for Payroll - coming soon!
 

Many of you have asked for it, and it's finally happening. Orchid's popular EFT Processing module is being enhanced to include integration with Sage 300 Payroll. Canadian payroll integration is on track to be released this month, closely followed by US payroll.

We'll have more to say on this in the coming weeks.
