Product Demos made easy...

Running a product demo can be a stressful experience, but the key to success is preparation. Once you've set up quality test data and have a tried and tested script you are 90% of the way to a predicable, repeatable demo.

That preparation takes time, particularly if you aren't intimately familiar with the software. Fortunately, if you plan to demo Orchid products to your clients, we've done much of the hard work for you.
 



We've created Demo Scripts for all Orchid modules. They are designed to make use of our v2018 Sample Data, and to highlight key product features.


You can have confidence that they work, as they are the very scripts and data that we at Orchid use to demo our products.

This month we feature Orchid's affordable yet powerful Business Intelligence tool. Info-Explorer allows you to: 

  • Gain in-depth insight into your true business performance, using current data, with real-time ‘slice and dice’ capability.
  • Explore many views from within a single cube, rather than relying on multiple reports.
  • Drill through to data and to Sage 300 records for full detail, or keep it high level.
  • Prepare detailed budgets & forecasts from within the same tool, especially when combined with Optional Tables.
  • Save changes back to your cubes, and optionally to your database, using the Writeback feature.

  • Web Screens update: Orchid’s development team is busy working on the EFT Web screens and we look forward to showing them off the next few months. 
     
  • EFT Enhancements: We plan to release EFT Processing v2018 PU2 (including the ability to apply a password to AP/AR/Payroll Remittance advices) by the end of April, as well as EFT Processing for Payroll for versions 2016 and 2017. After this, in May, we plan to release functionality that will enable the users to PDF, password protect and email the Pay Stub, T4 and Releve 1 forms in EFT Payroll.
